See that my questions are pertinent to be able to better use this new Proteus model, and I would also like to encourage you to put images of the meanings that have been talked about a lot in this community, such as: artifacts, comb effect, rainbow effect, ghosts, among others that are not for me. What does relative antialiasing and deblurring strength, moire patterns and/or staircasing (image/images) mean? What does a halo or ring artifacts around strong edges caused by oversharpness and “sweet spots” mean? What does an ISO noise (image/images) mean? What does amount softness (image/images) mean? What does recover fine texture and detail lost due to in-camera noise suppression (image/images) mean? What does blockiness or mosquito noise (image/images) mean? I would like to suggest, please, that you put a stream of photos to solve each problem faced in our daily lives to improve the quality of our Upscalers images, so we will know where and how we should or should not change the values of each proposed parameter by the Proteus model.Ĭonsidering that an IMAGE is worth more than a THOUSAND WORDS, I propose the following help for a better understanding of how to use the Proteus model (one or more images to represent each parameter, it would be better if an original image were posted and some as a result of the use of parameters of each model, example: original image and Sharpen parameter images in 10, 30, 60 and 100): Guys, I was very excited about the new Proteus 6-parameter v1 model, but as I’m a noobie aka novice in terms of video editing, I’d love to ask the masters (support and/or beta testers) to kindly, if you can, and this will add a lot of value to people here in the same situation as mine, to be able to better use and extract the most from this new Proteus model through images defining what each problem is found in compressed DVD videos, captured videos from VHS, video from digital cameras DV and TV and some old video we found on the WEB and we would like to improve and Upscaling to HD/FHD/UHD.
